chesterbaby17's friend has a big crush on the lovable- huggable bear, Geoff Eigenmann!

Geoff Eigenmann was born on March 23, 1985 is one of the hottest heartthrobs in the Philippines. He was first seen on a Jollibee commercial and later on, he starred in ABS CBN teleserye, "Hiram". Now, he is on ABS CBN's rival channel, GMA7 for "Obra Presents: Ganti" and the remake of a Korean hit telenovela, "Stairway to Heaven".
He is such a good looking actor! He has all the physical qualities many girls are looking for a guy! He's tall, with smooth white skin, lovely smile, hazel brown eyes, and most of all... he's chubby! Yes, some have this thing for "chubby" guys! Even if the guy is "heavy", that won't be a problem for them! Some girls are not into thin guys and of course, guys who are shorter than them! The nose can also be a factor! Eeewww to those guys with flat ones! Wonder how they breathe air! Hahaha! Sorry for being bitchy! Well, we all have our preferences, right?
My friend always wants to have someone who is totally her opposite. I know how much money she has been spending on whitening beauty products! A guy with smooth white skin can receive her rare nod! But that doesn't mean she can go out on dates with him already! Sorry, she ain't that easy! Hehehe! My friend is thin, so the guy must be chubby! Her height's 171cm (5 feet 7 inches), so he should be taller! Her nose is pointed, so stay home if yours is flat! Hahaha! A great fashion sense can knock her off her feet! Loving those designer brands and being familiar with them are plus 25 points! She owns and spray designer perfumes like Dolce and Gabbana, Calvin Klein, Elizabeth Arden, Polo Sport, Bulgari, Ralph Lauren... so her guy should also spray at least one of those brands or something that her shelf doesn't have...
Yeah... she may be a flirt at times! But sorry, she still sticks to her standards if it's all about finding "her man"! She already got a place in her heart reserved for Geoff Eigenmann! Hahaha! Go on, my dear friend... dream on! Hehehe!

chesterbaby17 enjoys watching "Tayong Dalawa"

I really love my new job schedule! Though it makes me get up at 4am so I can reach the office before 7am, conduct my online English class with my Korean student and stay in the office til past 7pm, I get a very good consolation in the evening when I get home! It's when I watch, "Tayong Dalawa"!
That TV series stars Kim Chui and Gerald Anderson, two of the most famous love teams this country has. It also has Gina PareƱo, portraying the role of Gerald's grandmom and Cherry Pie Picache, as the mom. Opposite Gerald is Jake Cuenca, with Agot Isidro as his mom. This TV series is not just star studded, but it has all the finest and internationally- recognized actors and actresses in the country! Therefore, you should not look forward to quality acting because these people can give you beyond that!
The scenes are presented in a fast pace! It's never boring and it makes you guess what the next scene will be but you end up disappointed because the story has lots of exciting twists! Among all the actors and actresses in this series, Agot Isidro didn't just get my attention but she impressed me when she pulled off a very difficult scene! It was just "amazing"!
Let's support the actors and actresses of "Tayong Dalawa"! Make it a habit to see it every evening!

chesterbaby17 adores "Confessions Of A Shopaholic"!

"Hello, I am Chen. I'm a SHOPAHOLIC!". Well, it's so true! I really am! I can relate so much to the movie that stars, Isla Fisher! I do have Rebecca Bloomwood in me! And just like her, I'm also stuck in debts caused by the "magic cards"!
But the movie did me a wake up call. And now, I'm trying to turn my life around! I'm gradually paying off my credit card bills and trying to save money as much as I can.
For years, I've been spending my money on clothes, designer perfumes, shoes, bags and accessories of all sorts... simply because I love fashion! Been socializing so much that makes me spend money instead of just staying at home and sleep... Not to mention the thousands of pesos I've been spending loading credits to my SMART and Globe prepaid cellphones and paying the bills of my postpaid SUN! I always say "No, money!" to my mom and other family members every time they ask me for a penny to spend at home and on needs! I've been living the lifestyle I myself cannot afford! Well, doesn't that make me a SHOPAHOLIC? Or the word isn't enough to describe me but SOCIAL CLIMBING SHOPAHOLIC fits better?!
As I try my best to change my life, I've realized that there are ways for me to have "nice" things without spending much. I will not turn myself into "The Girl in a Green Scarf" by giving pieces of advice on how to handle credit when I myself is in debt up to my eyes! I am into making myself satisfied with thrift things without jeopardizing my impeccable fashion sense!(Chuckles!)
Well, guys, wish me the best of luck!

chesterbaby17 loves the movie, "Slumdog Millionaire"!

Ugh! This movie is so moving... It's one of the most inspirational movies I've seen! I love it so much... I can say that the people behind this movie are real gifted!
As far as I'm concerned, the movie talks about DESTINY as it focuses on one's pursuit for a better life. Watching it made me learn that we all have our ways on changing our lives and whatever method we have becomes the definition of ourselves. The movie made me realize that this world is not just an arena of bad shrewdly- tricky people trying to get ahead through their diabolic means. There are still some who try to get things and change life for the better by doing what is right and still keep their integrity intact no matter how difficult it may be. And on our road to success, we may come across people who may block our way, but being smart, determined and not trusting deceitful looks and smiles can save us from being caught in a trap.
"Slumdog Millionaire"... such an inspiring movie... a great source of learning!

chesterbaby17 loves "You Changed My Life"!

It was Saturday, February 28, when my friends and I decided to meet at Robinson's Imus. I thought it was just a casual meeting for a chat and drinks at a fastfood restaurant. Surprisingly, one of my friends asked me to watch, "You Changed My Life" that stars Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz. I didn't hesitate because 3 nights before last Saturday, I heard from Kris Aquino on SNN that the movie was able to get 18M pesos on its first day of screening! "The movie must be very good!", the thing I had in mind... Not to mention, this is a sequel of their No. 1 movie, "A Very Special Love" which hit the movie houses like storm months ago.
Sarah Geronimo's acting in the movie is superb! That is an amazing portrayal of a girl who's so much inlove with her busy boyfriend and will do everything just to make the relationship work. She is so hilarious! John Lloyd's performance is never questionable. He's a great actor and it seems that he keeps on getting better as time goes by. He is good both at serious love stories and romatic comedies.
The movie is so lovely that until now, I can't help but still laugh at the memorable scenes! I am encouraging everyone to see this movie, too! It's beyond the typical feel- good type... It's way too entertaining! No wonder, when we left the movie house, all the people who I saw last Saturday moved out of the theater which twikling eyes and bright smiles!
